He is the company's most tenured performer, and he's also the only remaining active competitor from the very first episode of WWE Raw in 1993. A Look At The Intense Rivalry Between The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar: Raw, Aug. 10, 2015

    We come back to a video of various WWE Superstars, Divas and Hall of Famers discussing Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker. Triple H and Paul Heyman are also featured. Triple H says all hell is going to break loose at SummerSlam. Steve Austin calls it a must-win situation for The Undertaker. Heyman says Lesnar will put an end to The Deadman. It’s confirmed that both Lesnar and The Undertaker will be on RAW from Minneapolis next week. They plug the post-RAW WWE Network special on Taker and Lesnar tonight.

    WWE confirmed on tonight’s RAW that both Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker will be live on next week’s show from Minneapolis. They teased another brawl between the two. Next week’s RAW is the final show before SummerSlam.

    Nice video. I think it’s obvious it was a clip from the WWE Network Special that aired after RAW. I’ll have a full recap of that up after I watch it. With Lesnar and Taker off tonight’s show, that video clip above and the special that followed RAW were perfect timing.

    Looking forward to next week’s RAW. If I were WWE, I’d kick off RAW with a Paul Heyman in-ring promo where he stands alongside Lesnar and they play up the rivalry of Taker and Lesnar, noting how Taker’s never beaten him and is now so desperate to do so, he returned, etc. Then I’d close out RAW with Taker and Lesnar, face to face in the ring. I don’t think another brawl is needed, but I’m not against another one happening either. For anyone thinking about the possibility of Kane returning next week or at Summerslam, reports suggest he won’t be back till after the post-Summerslam week because he and Ziggler are still filming scenes for WWE Studios’ upcoming thriller, “6:42.”

      I’m very excited for this match! I want to see undertaker get his revenge on Brock Lesnar!
      Going through the possible scenarios for the outcome of the match at Summerslam..what if Lesnar wins? Then what? Why have Taker come back and lose to Brock again? Makes no sense..but I think there is a chance that might happen! It all goes to back to what Paul Heyman said last week on RAW, Heyman told a story about Vince not letting Taker get his rematch at WM31 because Vince didn’t Taker to get beat up badly again..Vince doesn’t believe he can beat him..Undertaker has yet to beat Lesnar.
      Possible scenario for summer slam is undertaker gets some offense in the early going but then Brock takes over and dominates..possibly giving him 10 plus suplexes. An absolute 1 sided match like we saw last year with Brock vs Cena. I can see either two things here: Vince coming out stopping the match or Lesnar again pins Taker.
      Why? Maybe this is the start of a “retirement” storyline with Undertaker and Vince. Much like what Vince did with Ric Flair in 2008. Idk, just a theory here. Vince thinks Takers days are up..again that would be apart of my theoretical storyline.

      Before yall rip me shreds, just know it’s just a theory I think could happen. We all expect Taker to get revenge but maybe WWE is counting on that. I want to see this fued end with Taker finally getting a win over Lesnar.

      I missed you guys. How are you all? 🙂 This match should be great and hopefully they give Taker the win! Take care people 🙂

    • Michael on August 12th, 2015 says:

      If they do that it’ll piss of the fans! Cena and rollins i’m almost thinking will be a dq or cena wins and sheamus cashes in and that is fine because it is not the main event! The main event needs a clean finish and i think the result of cena rollins will actually tell us with how the main event will end

      @Renzo The DeadGamer:

      OMG! Long time! Welcome back! Hope to see you in the fan forums. There’s more activity there then here.

      @Aarron:

      After all this time, people don’t get it. Despite Taker’s explanation, people still believe what they want to believe and believe what they think is right. Where did anyone get the idea there this was a revenge game for Taker? Ok so The Streak is no more. Big deal. As Taker said, “streak are made to be broken. That’s the painful truth.” He is okay about that. You can’t avenge a loss 15 months later because you’re 15 months too late.
      He’s angry at Lesnar for allowing Heyman to brag about it. That’s what he’s back for. It’s not about revenge.

      Lesnar defeating Taker? Makes no sense? But it might happen? Of course because WWE’s known to screw up. They might see Lesnar defeating Taker as a way of capitalizing on the anticipation, to extend the rivalry. But I’m of the belief that it should end with a Taker win at SSlam. Taker’s basically being portrayed here as an underdog. Imagine if the underdog loses after saying his recent return was his “true resurrection?”

      There’s no way in hell this will be anywhere near the one sided match Lesnar/Cena was, nor can I see Vice coming out an stopping the match. Neither scenario works for Taker’s character or his pride. There’s a better chance of Heyman turning on Lesnar and siding with Taker or Hogan coming out to cost someone the match than either of your possible scenarios taking place and we know Heyman’s not siding with Taker and Hogan’s not appearing at all because he was terminated recently.

      Heyman saying Taker begged Vince for a rematch at WM31….you’re buying a lot into a promo. Taker’s not a begger. At this point in his career, I don’t thin he’ll turn into a begger and beg for anything. Heyman’s line could have just been said to further hype things.

    • Thy Serpent on August 14th, 2015 says:

      Hmm… The video ends with folks speaking in favour of Brock. In such cases, usually the opposite happens. Anyone watch one of the related videos – 5 superstars who defeated The Undertaker ? In that, The Undertaker after losing, defeats them in the next match. Sign of the things to come?

    • Anan on August 14th, 2015 says:

      @Thy Serpent:

      I wouldn’t put much stock into WWE’s videos. They ended the video that way because Taker’s been away from WWE for the most part while Lesnar’s been tearing it up. Had Lesnar been away and Taker continuing his destruction, who’s to say the video wouldn’t end with individuals speaking in favor of Taker?

      If that video was done by real wrestling fans/purists who have no knowledge whatsoever as to WWE’s plans for the outcome, I’d take it more seriously than I do right now. I’m not saying everyone who commented on the video knows the outcome. Maybe Stone Cold for example really does not know. But who’s to say HHH doesn’t?
