Quick Bio

The Undertaker is an American professional wrestler signed to WWE. He is the company's most tenured performer, and he's also the only remaining active competitor from the very first episode of WWE Raw in 1993. Calaway began his wrestling career with World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in 1984. In 1990, Calaway signed with the World Wrestling Federation and The Undertaker was born. The rest, as they say, was history!

      Tonight’s segment was good.

      I’m looking forward to the conversation on WWE Network post-Raw. They touch on the WCW subject that Kevin Nash brought up a few times now. It doesn’t sound like such a big lie now that JBL, HBK, and Austin will all discuss it. Like they all say anything could and can happen in wrestling. I guess that also means even the most loyal & respected guy even thought about jumpin ship at least at one spot in his 25 year tenure with WWE.

      @Dead Angel:

      I wish RAW would open with a match as starting with a promo has been done for so long. But you’re right. The BOD/Wyatt promo segment was good. Nice to see The Druids again too.

      In wrestling, there’s two cliched phrases, but also phrases that have proven to be true more than once. “Anything can happen” and “Never say never.” Whoever thought Goldberg or Sting would come to WWE after WCW ended? Fans wanted to see them in WWE. Goldberg’s WWE run wasn’t what he or fans expected and Sting came 14 years after WCW ended at a point when he’s so close to his active wrestling days being over. But eventually, fans still got their wish. So although I just can’t see WWE’s most loyal individual, Taker leaving WWE, especially to go back to a company that had him in 1990 and told him he’d never amount to anything in the business. No I don’t believe it was Bischoff who told him that as back in 1990, he wasn’t running the ship. And by 2000, the WCW ship was clearly sinking. I think the injuries, years of wrestling and drugs took their toll on Sting by that time so I don’t think he was on shows every night. Politics were overused. The wrong people were calling the shots. They had ridiculous stuff like Leno and Arquette in matches. In fact, Arquette was even WCW Champion. Why would Taker leave WWE, who was doing much better business in 2000 to go to a sinking ship that not even he could save despite all his effort(s) in trying to keep that ship afloat? But that’s just my belief. Only Taker knows for sure if he’d have left or thought about it or not.
