The Undertaker is an American professional wrestler signed to WWE. He is the company's most tenured performer, and he's also the only remaining active competitor from the very first episode of WWE Raw in 1993. Calaway began his wrestling career with World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in 1984. In 1990, Calaway signed with the World Wrestling Federation and The Undertaker was born. The rest, as they say, was history!

Sound Off: Who Should The Undertaker Face At WrestleMania?
We are 49 days away from WrestleMania 32, and perhaps the name most synonymous with the event – The Undertaker – appears to be in need of an opponent.
As noted, The Undertaker was originally scheduled to face John Cena at the event, but that match was nixed after Cena sustained a shoulder injury last month. Taker was then rumored to face Braun Strowman at the show, but Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer recently reported that the expected match appears to be out the window, and Strowman is now slated to be in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Given the current roster, who should Taker face at the big event? Sound off with your thoughts.
All I ask is that you provide good reason(s) to support your choice(s.)

Taker should face Sting, if he is in good shape by now. The match will definitely fill the AT&T Stadium. Plus both men reside in Texas. There are no more possible opponents for Taker at this point in time with WWE having the majority of their top talent out with injuries. Plus its a no-brainer: its a dream match in the making. WWE, stop wasting time and make the match.

Sting….it only makes sense to have the Legend v Legend…Icon v Icon dream match at what is being billed as the biggest wrestlemania of all-time.
The silence on the various sites on Stinger’s current condition…plus the various on/off opponents only lead me to the conclusion that we will finally get this match.
4th-2 on 1 handi-cap,hell in a cell v Harper & Rowan

No, I don’t want to see yet another Taker vs Lesnar match at WM32. I would rather go to the bathroom and eat my own hair, than have to put up with Heyman again. I would like to see Taker vs Chris Jericho or Roman Reigns.

@eric :I dont believe my eyes for what you said, sting vs taker at WM32,how can that be possible?you are risking taker loss or sting’s further injury + loss,i wouldn’t mind if wwe set the match in some other ppv and sting win the god damn match but certainly not at WM 32,Oh well…imo.
I guess john cena known for speedy recovery but wwe will not risk of bringing him back so early.
i can see myself, yousif, slinky slater and suman that makes it 4 votes.I am sick of people bragging at us for taker not pinning brock lesnar, had taker pinned brock instead of devils gate at summerslam,i wouldnt mind taker facing any body.

I don’t know if Taker vs Cena is a classic. I’m not saying it’ll be a bad match. It won’t be. It will be one of Mania’s highlights, but I still think calling it a classic is still stretching it a bit, especially considering even if Cena does work WM, there’s no way he will be 100% so soon from such an injury.
I don’t believe Roman Reigns is even ready for HHH, let alone Taker.
Happy to see that a match many feel the ship’s sailed on has got 4 votes….Taker vs Sting. Also happy Jericho got a mention or two here.
It won’t happen At WM this year, I don’t believe. But at some point, I wanna see Taker against Samoa Joe, Balor, Cesaro, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Jushin “Thunder” Liger, Shinsuke Nakamura, wouldn’t mind a match against Kevin Owens and Luke Harper somewhere either.
- Piyush on February 16th, 2016 says:
I wish to see Taker vs Jericho.
Jericho because.. just hearing this name takes me back to those 2004 era golden days when there used to be superstars of the likes of Chris benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Edge and so many others. These people and their matches are etched in my memories. They have been so beautiful.
I feel so very nostalgic about those good old days. Just for the sake of those memories, I want to see this match. I want to feel that era again.
- Dark Rider on February 16th, 2016 says:
Absolutely, Nothing but STING . After the Fast Line the Road to WrestleMania will get much heated than now. At the time Sting will return as HOF inductee by JBL and he appear on RAW. After his delivery of speech Suddenly, the bell ring and Demon of Death Valley will raise from the hell. Their conversation will be happen 2 or 3 Episodes of RAW and Smack down. So, the WM32 will be Sting vs Undertaker also Jim Ross will be in the comment table.

Everyone is obsessed with Brock v Taker 4 like just stop going on about it because it’s not going to happen.
Also I believe it will be Sting v Taker but if not that, Kevin Owens v Taker.
- Mike b on February 17th, 2016 says:
Rather see roman reigns, yea in many cases still unsolve story between taker/Brock. But no matter how Vince will stick with Brock running taker over with steam roller. Besides who cares after what Vince and company already ruined that all up.. Rock won’t because every time wrestle mania comes around rock signed up for another movie. Don’t mind hogan but that’s way out of the box between hogan and Vince. Sting maybe but no matter how or what Vince will not period have those two fight. Soo I think Roman be best and Roman knocks off taker and down the line this year Roman takes on Brock and Roman can say hey I also beat taker wrestle mania. Thou Brock ended the streak but Roman on he’s way up so makes much since for this story. So Brock should take on triple h.. And plenty of reasons that Brock and triple h should go down but what ever

@Jesse:its not the matter of obsession, had the undertaker pinned brock lesnar at any ppv i wouldnt even ask for rematch but here the sole question is getting pinned.Do you think taker win at SS was good?i say hell no.
Offtopic: did any one of you seen instagram posted by his wife, his body looks demonic, for once it looked like brock but better toned and ripped.
- Jess on February 17th, 2016 says:
It is an obsession if it is said on every article. Their feud is finished, done, dusted. Never to be touched again.
That picture was posted in the forums, so most of us have seen it. His lats are huge and his back is that of Lesnar’s I wouldn’t say Brock isn’t ripped or toned because he is.
- Anan on February 17th, 2016 says:
I agree with you that people are obsessed with Taker vs Brock Lesnar. Where is it written, where is it a MUST that Taker HAS to get a clean win at PPV over every opponent he ever has? It’s written nowhere. It’s just an obsession in the minds of Taker marks. Regarding Kevin Owens….he requested Taker for WM32 and was rejected or so that’s the word going around the net.
Sting, doubt it’s this year if at all even though I and apparently others want it. He’s going into the HOF and though he says he feels a lot better and normal after his NOC injury, how that feeling pertains to an actual wrestling match, I don’t know. If it does happen and I hope it does, I can see it next WM or maybe out of WWE’s concern for Sting due to his age, maybe Summerslam this year. WM or Summerslam, I say sooner is better because time’s running out.
Angle’s adament on taking 2016 off wrestling so don’t see him wrestling in WWE this year at all. I find Jericho and Cena likely. Jericho’s currently busy with AJ Styles. But Fast Lane will be their tie breaker as they both have one win over each other right now. So it’s possible after Sunday, they’ll be free to move on allowing WWE to book Taker vs Jericho. Cena’s made early returns before so I never ruled that out. If he does return early, he will in no way be 100% and that may hinder his in ring performance meaning Taker vs Cena, as good as it may be won’t be the expected match due to Cena not being 100%.

Taker vs brock only now
Jericho? !! Please guys stop it . Are you serious? ! We are not in 200s. With all respect.. he is a joke now . And taker shud not agree to wrestle some 1 so easy like him
Doesn’t make sense at all . Taker should win in less than five Mintues.
Jericho can’t get a win over fandango. What you guys are talking about!
The rock is great choice but the rock will not agree . No way
He knows he can’t wrestle taker in texas and get booed all the way
This is not what he wants at this stage of his career as a big hollywod star and he is very smart
So forget it
Sting is old and injured so he can’t put up a good match with taker who is in great shape now and totally ready. And sting lost last two times and this is not good infact its very bad for . taker sting match now .
We don’t want just a match for hype using names ..darkness bla bla. Etc
We want a real good match. And Sting I don’t think he can do it now
But still he is much much better than owens
Taker shud noooottttttt wrestle any young wrestler no waaay any more ..
Taker passed this stage too! It’s not the time for him to do it.
Considering taker. brock is young!! And even the rock was a beginner for him . I remember once he said to the rock when you was in high school I was winning titles here!
That’s the rock I am talking about .!!!
passing torche thing is boring for him now . He passed the torche to himself several times !!
Taker vs brock is the only thing good can happen after cenas injury
And I am not obsessed with this my friends ..I actually enjoy these 2 in the ring more than anything in wretling today
The presence of these two is something different and huge
The chemistry between them is high. We can feel it.
Taker brock can give us 100 good matches together.
And yes I belive taker should win and he deserves to win
- Jess on February 18th, 2016 says:
It’s not going to happen so please just stop. Taker doesn’t need the win over Brock because they’re making Brock into this unbeatable monster therefore he will not be pinned or submitted.
Sting…calling him old and injured is possibly the most disrespectful thing you could say. He’s 6 years older than Taker at 56 years old. Yes he sustained a neck injury but as Anan said, he apparently feels good and well from it. I believe he had surgery on it.
Jericho…I would honestly love to see this match. It is something I’d definitely wish to see sometime down the line if both men are still performing.
The Rock…I don’t really have much interest in this match because I wouldn’t really see the point of it. Also the Rock’s schedule may prevent him from doing any in ring work.
Taker has already passed the torch to Lesnar back in 2014 when he snapped the Streak.
Taker v Brock, you are not the only one who enjoys them both in the ring (squashing the WM30 match). WWE portrayed their hatred of each other very well and settled it in one of the most brutal HIAC matches of the modern era. They DO NOT need another match because their feud is finished.
- dhanish1979 on February 18th, 2016 says:
@jess:i am not going to argue with you nor anan because you guys do not want it see it happening or taking things like health issue of the taker personally, that’s fine by me but saying the feud is over and dusted,i mean where were you when john cena faced randy orton for 120 times in various format, with in that 20 times in ppv,i have list though,Oh what the heck i can give you few more ppv matches between same superstars hogan and savage 10 times i suppose, sting vs flair 15 times (not sure),i have seen them during my teens but never felt bored.
Yes now that latest info is john cena is making a comeback sooner than expected, there is also talk about kurt angle,if brcok is going to face bray then it will be bray 3rd loss in a row, vince could be knowing this issue. After all vince is god of wwe and he knows best.cheers…..
- yousif on February 18th, 2016 says:
Sorry if you felt what I said it’s disrespect to sting
What I mean by old and injured
Is he is not ready after injury and yes he is old! What’s the disrespectful thing calling someone old . Old!
Yes I know taker is only 6 years younger . But he is ready and training hard and in full form . So I mean there will be a clear gap in putting up a good match
I wish I am clear now!
I also wished Y2j vs taker long back . Just like you . But what Jericho did to his career in wrestling doesn’t make him anywhere to wrestle taker ..
As I said I am not looking hype match for names ..etc
And even there is not hype for Jericho now
Honestly… can you think Jericho pinning taker in a clear match ? Hahah of course not .. then what’s the use for this match .?
And of course there will be no outside interference in taker vs Jericho in 2016
So Jericho somehow can a get 5% chance. ..
As I said meaningless predictable match
Jericho will do his old staff which is not interesting at all now .and will loose easily
Taker vs brock. I am sure it will happen one ore time ! I said this before. But not wrestlemania 32
But now after cena got injured .Sting not ready. Jeriho not up to the mark
It should be brock vs taker
Atleast we guarantee another high class good match
And this is the best time for taker at 50 he can’t be at any better shape to wrestle the beast once again
Mind tissue when taker is in the ring even if he is 50. It’s not just the name.
Taker is still one of the best performer and storyteller in the ring
Please don’t put taker in any match to make money and advertise it without any fued m just a match! Come see pay ticket !!
Taker is not hogan when he was 50 who will stand and clap and show muscles for 15 minutes in 17 minute match
Use taker properly. . Please let them be taker vs brock once again

All great points again Jess. They should hire you as a writer and booker.
You’re using Cena/Orton to justify you favoring another Taker vs Brock Lesnar match? Here’s two things to think about:
1. Cena and Orton have teamed up together more times than Taker and Lesnar have. In fact, the only time I remember Taker teaming with Brock is on Smackdown 2003 in a handicap match against Big Show and FBI. Cena has teamed with Orton way more times, not just together, but as part of multi-teams also.
2. ” john cena faced randy orton for 120 times in various format, with in that 20 times in ppv,i have list though,Oh what the heck i can give you few more ppv matches between same superstars hogan and savage 10 times i suppose, sting vs flair 15 times (not sure)”
To that I say this: None of those Cena/Orton, Hogan/Savage, Sting/Flair were built as The Final Encounter like Taker/Lesnar HIAC. Final Encounter means just that. It was their final match. No more. Done. Finished. If they were gonna have another match, don’t you think they either would have started the build now or keep Lesnar off TV till after Fast Lane? After The Wyatts attacks on Lesnar on RAW, it’s clear that despite being in the #1Contender’s Triple Threat, which Wyatt may cost Lesnar the win, that WWE’s building towards Lesnar vs Wyatt. If Lesnar did win the Triple Threat, he’d face HHH for the World Title. Either way, no Taker vs Lesnar, at least not at WM32. At this point, that is more than obvious.
