Quick Bio

The Undertaker is an American professional wrestler signed to WWE. He is the company's most tenured performer, and he's also the only remaining active competitor from the very first episode of WWE Raw in 1993. Calaway began his wrestling career with World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in 1984. In 1990, Calaway signed with the World Wrestling Federation and The Undertaker was born. The rest, as they say, was history!

    Backstage Talk On WWE Possibly Splitting Up The RAW And SmackDown Brands This Year

    Shane McMahon’s WWE return and match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32 for the control of RAW got a lot of fans talking about a potential brand split happening again.

    Fans aren’t the only ones talking about a brand split as there have been rumblings within WWE for several weeks now, even before Shane returned, according to PWInsider. No word yet on exactly what is being discussed or how close they might be to actually executing the idea but there has been at least talk of doing some kind of split with RAW and SmackDown.

    It will be very interesting to see if WWE could pull off a brand split with the way business is today. It doesn’t sound like NXT would be involved but that wasn’t stated in the report. There’s also no word on if the stipulation for Hell In a Cell at WrestleMania would tie into the split but it seems like that would be the easiest way to get there.

    Mixed feelings on this. On one hand, might be good for talents who are rarely seen. The first brand extension gave the crusierweights and others a chance to shine who’d otherwise be buried if ever seen on RAW or SD without the brand split while also giving talents like HHH and Taker, who were full-time back then a little rest period of sorts in the sense that they were only working one brand’s shows (HHH was exclusive to RAW for the most part as he did spend some time on SD. Taker was exclusive to RAW for a while, then moved to SD and stayed there making it his show essentially). On the other hand, not only would be split bring in more titles (like it did in the previous split) at a point where even the current ones are more or less meaningless, but the split “might” also lead to a Shane McMahon win unless they find some other way to get the split going, provided that is WWE’s direction.

      Why, doesn’t need to be. Yea some big stars on both programs but should be mix with nxt stars and new up rising stars on smack down. Then once certain person gets big enough then time to hit the big time on raw

      So triple h yachting about don’t respect authority and every one needs be hiding in fear this and that, sounded so much right down the road for taker come out get in triple h face says something like authority doesn’t guys like him. That even triplle h needs look at him bigger guy. And tells triple hell no I’m not excepting the match and Vince comes forcing taker sorta and taker has agenda face someone else but all that didn’t happened and dean comes out like wtf who cares

    • Anan on March 1st, 2016 says:

      @Mike b:

      We’re on the Road to WM. The Authority is HHH and Stephanie McMahon. Taker has no business with The Authority. Roman Reigns does as he is gonna face HHH for the World Title at WM, not Taker.

      Secondly when has Taker not accepted a match that has been presented to him?

    • Mark Petrick on March 1st, 2016 says:

      To Anan and Mike b:

      I agree with Anan Mike b, Undertaker has no business getting involved in The Authority with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. It’s between Roman Reigns and Triple H, not Undertaker at all. Undertaker has his own problems with Shane McMahon, not with The Authority. And like Anan said, Undertaker accepts any challenges that has been presented to him.

      To Everyone:

      The Undertaker is coming up next and we will see, what he has to say. It is going to be good, like it always is when Undertaker is on Raw. Vince McMahon is supposed to be in this confrontation as well.

    • Mark Petrick on March 1st, 2016 says:

      To Everyone:

      Correction, Undertaker will confront Vince McMahon since Vince McMahon is in the ring now.

      To Everyone:

      Undertaker did surprise us, he wore the black suit and the black hat and his hair is long again!!! I loved how he choked Vince McMahon and said, the blood is going to be on Vince McMahon hands, not his!!! After he gets done, beating Shane McMahon at Wrestlemania 32!!! It was a quick segment but it was excellent!!! Undertaker rolls on!!! 🙂

    • damja20101 on March 1st, 2016 says:

      takers hair wasnt that long compared to what it use to be…..taker has no business with the authority….the only person who i think will interfer in the hhh/reigns match i believe would be shane especially if he looses he’ll have fuel for hes fire taker is just there to do hes job which is to face shane in hiac he doesnt care about what goes on after wm he just wants to win

    • Anan on March 1st, 2016 says:

      @damja20101:

      I think a Rock interference in Reigns/HHH is most likely. Win or lose, Shane will be too beat up by Taker probably to do anything else at WM IMO.
