RAW 2/29/16 Results – Taker Segment

    – Back from the break and out comes Vince McMahon to a mild reception. He’s not happy with the reaction and asks fans if that’s all they have for him. He goes on about how Shane McMahon winning at WrestleMania 32 would be bad for WWE. Vince says he loves his son enough to teach him a lesson he will never forget. Vince calls The Undertaker his instrument of destruction. Vince introduces Taker and the lights go out and the bells toll as Taker makes his grand entrance.

Taker gets a big pop as he finally appears. Vince looks on as The Deadman marches to the ring. Taker enters the ring and looks up at the WrestleMania sign, then back at Vince. Fans chant for him. Vince says, “That’s right, he’s my force of destruction, he does…” Taker grabs Vince by the throat. Taker says Vince knows what’s going to happen when he closes that door behind him at WrestleMania. Taker says Vince knows what he does and the blood of his son will be on Vince’s own hands, not Taker’s. Taker’s music hits and he leaves. That was a very quick segment. Taker’s music finally stops and Vince takes the mic. Vince says the reality is that he will be standing in the ring the night after WrestleMania and Shane will have failed him as a son by losing to The Undertaker. Vince says he’s going to write Shane out of his will and give it all to Stephanie. Vince says this pains him to say but he will renounce Shane as his son. He says Shane will no longer be his son from the heart, he will just be a son of a bi###. Vince’s music hits as he stands with the WrestleMania banner in the background. Vince looks out around the crowd and acts conflicted about Shane no longer being his son. We go to commercial.

Quick, to the point segment far as Taker’s concerned. So all the Taker’s joining Vince/The Authority, not accepting, turning heel, or being replaced theories has (for) now been sentenced to rest thanks to Taker, who has obviously accepted the match as he always does.

Based on Vince’s words, I can see a McMahon screwing at WM now more than I previously did. Or at least an attempt of one. Wouldn’t be the first time it happened. If anyone can overcome that, it’s Taker, who’s overcome unimaginable odds throughout his WWE career.

      To Anan:

You are absolutely right Anan, quick to the point and that’s what the Undertaker wanted to do. And like you said previously, Undertaker accepts any match that comes his way and this one is not the first time he has been through this. This is what Undertaker does, he gets to the point and moves on!!! 🙂

    • Mark Petrick on March 1st, 2016 says:

      To Anan:

I can see a Vince McMahon screwing at Wrestlemania 32 to the Undertaker, for what Undertaker said to him Tonight. But like you said Anan, if anyone can overcome that obstacle it would be the Undertaker. Time and time again, he has delivered.

    • Mike b on March 1st, 2016 says:

True quick to the point moves on but with such destruction force he’s charater is should of been used all the commits triple h been crying about since he won the title. Like he’s such a force and talking to the crowd and roaster now your place and we all and the roaster should be feared this and that. That to me should of been calling taker come but have bit of segment with triple h telling that he needs step back in place and force like taker he won’t e very the match becuz he can stuff, that when Vince comes out have that segment convince taker do the match and taker course says he’s line to Vince on he’s hands. And taker should of also mention he’s gonna do the match he wants some one or two during the year. But whatever that’s how segment should happened to me.

    • Mike b on March 1st, 2016 says:

Also send message to Shane besides blood on Vince’s hands that taker should of choke slam triple h

    • Venezuelantaker on March 1st, 2016 says:

Took a while for Taker to get his voice right

    • Jess on March 1st, 2016 says:

I think Taker was a bit far away from the mic at first and then he went a bit closer and it was fine.

    • ancientrites on March 1st, 2016 says:

Shane O Mac is LearninG Muai thai Kick boxing, wouldn’t be surprised to see 22-2.

    • damja20101 on March 1st, 2016 says:

undertaker has training in many martial arts so dont get to cocky there buddy…..what does hhh have to do with shane vs taker hhh has hes own story line which is why he is never around when this stuff went down having him chockslam hhh would of been stupid

    • ancientrites on March 1st, 2016 says:

Mr Damja Our client brock will become World champion when he peels of dean ambrose at Wrestlingmania,Triple H will lose his title to Ambrose.Better watch out for this twister.Keep calm and get ready for 22-2.

    • HTM on March 1st, 2016 says:

I like it when Vince says that Taker is his force of destruction. Undertaker choking Vince is the perfect response to such stupid statement.
Undertaker’s is no one’s force of destruction, fools.

    • yousif on March 1st, 2016 says:

      dear all ..
when the undertakaker said your sons blood will be on your hand not mine , sounded like he is going to do the unthinkable to shane and going to beat him so bad that even his life is in danger ..

by looking at vinces faces this time SOMETHING came on my mind i felt liek this can be turn into great idea for unique storyiine .
that now vince will be in trouble and will feel like he made a big mistake to put his sons life in danger for the sake of business.
and the story goes on from here , its like every 1 playing grey charcter and things goes emotional here and the match will be so unique and open for many possible interference.

all what i mean is we need concepts scripits storylines to make things intresting in this match because its unlogical match

but that thing didnt happen ,, and same boring angles are going on ,,,

any comment on what i said ????

    • dhanish1979 on March 1st, 2016 says:

@Yosuf:Something just popped in my brain
scenario 1: Next week shane comes out and changes his mind not facing the undertaker instead call out paul heyman and promises if brock saves the company from vince he will be the first contender for wwe title shot,in this way we get to see the undertaker vs brock lesnar 4,Still 4 weeks remaining.I personally dont find shane fighting the undertaker or hiring the rock or even goldberg,
scenario 2 :next week triple h vs dean ambrose for title match, all of a sudden brock interrupts and gives f5 to dean ambrose, the referee declares ambrose win by disqualification, dean ambrose picks up mic and says trips lost the match ,triple h gets mad at brock and pushes brcok ,brock gets wild gives him Suflex and when about to deliver f5 GONG taker appears as usual gives chokeslam,

    • eric on March 1st, 2016 says:

bottom line…..Taker took the match….no “hell no” like I had thought…as it stands,it’s Taker/Shane….I do believe there will be interference on Shane’s behalf…but the true conquerer will survive….and rolls on to 23-1!!!!!!!!
      BELIEVE THAT!!!!!!
If Shane wants Raw,he’ll have to take it over on Mon Night.

    • Deadman3m2 on March 1st, 2016 says:

Did you see the undertaker new tattoo?

    • Leonardo on March 1st, 2016 says:

The Undertaker will lost, it’s obvious. Triple H and Stephanie need vacations, so Shane is going to replace them.
Sadly, Vince doesn’t care about Undertaker’s carreer and he will lose with a non-wrestler oponent.

    • Jess on March 1st, 2016 says:

      Deadman3m2: What new tattoo??

    • Christian on March 1st, 2016 says:

Hard times for me as an Undertaker fan since 1990.

That how angle so far is big BS. Nearly as big as breaking the streak and Taker did not retire.
It will damage the legacy of the phenom, it already has.

Only way to have such a thing is a midcard ppv not Wrestlemania.

If Shane is really Takers oponent, I don´t even watch it PERIOD

    • Mike b on March 1st, 2016 says:

I’m just saying triple segment yacking how every one needs to be feared of authority stuff and to me should been that moment taker comes out tells triple h some thing you and your dad better get your spot cuz authority doesn’t apply to me u guys needs hear real darkness. Taker tells triple tell your father law in not Doing the March then Vince comes trying yack convince taker do the match and taker should of said say thing if I do I want something out of this like match against sting or something and then tells Vince do the match but blood be on your hands then turn triple h taker sends message to Shane by shoke slamming triple h. Taker only on so much and such big charater he should have longer segment and to me that should of how segment went down..

    • Jess on March 1st, 2016 says:

      LOL bye.

    • Anan on March 1st, 2016 says:

He’s his own force of destruction, always has been, always will be. manager or no manager, before during and after the Corporate Ministry days. It was revealed that Vince was the higher power. Who didn’t see that one coming? But fact is Taker’s always been THE power, none higher. The revelation of Vince was in June. Next month later, Taker told Vince no one threatens him, made him, owns him or tells him what to do. So Vince wasn’t the higher power for very long. Never should have been in the first place.

Aside from the noticeably short HIAC match Taker had with Punk in 2009, every other HIAC match involving Undertaker had some kind of blood though obviously toned down in the PG era. If Shane bleeds and they may not allow it, then Taker’s right. It is on Vince’s hands as he made the match.

Whatever. Your opinion. I guess you rather see Taker vs Braun Strowman or no Taker match at WM period. Taker vs Shane, happening regardless of who likes it and who doesn’t.

LOL great response! I second that!

    • Christian on March 1st, 2016 says:

Naah, Strowman isn´t ready… The business is in big trouble regarding starpower, the returning Shane O´Mc Effect shouldn´t have been combined with Takers Wm Match.

If there´s no big competitor like Lesnar for Taker then bring in upcoming guys like they did with Bray.

I would prefer HHH vs Shane and Taker vs Reigns with Reigns turning heel – imagine the crowd reaction…

The streak is gone, Taker just needs a guy that can deliver – Shane?? what did Shane deliver as a wrestler.

    • Anan on March 1st, 2016 says:

I’m glad no one in the Wyatt Fam’s facing Taker. They aren’t anywhere near where they were when they debuted. They were red hot then. Now they’re nothing. They’re constantly buried. I thought the feud with Taker and Kane would be a push for them considering how the build started. But the match at SSeries did nothing for them, really. Usually a Taker match elevates his opponents. But WWE did not have that in mind so it didn’t happen. We’re less than 6 weeks away from WM and nothing’s been done on TV to build to their match which I’m sure they’ll have. But no build’s started nor do we know who their opponent(s) are.

Is Reigns ready? I don’t know. Personally I don’t like him. His promos suck. and Taker builds nowadays are mostly consisted of promos. Taker shouldn’t have to carry the build by himself. But what can Reigns do? He can’t cut a promo. You want a match that’ll guarantee to deliver? Jericho, hell even AJ Styles (yes I know he just debuted, but doesn’t mean he isn’t a veteran) would work. But alas we have Taker vs Shane. And now that it’s official, I’m willing to let it play out before saying it’ll suck.

“what did Shane deliver as a wrestler.”

Watch his matches with Test, Kane, Vince, Kurt Angle, Big Show to see the answer to that question. He certainly delivered.

    • Christian on March 1st, 2016 says:

Yeah, Shane always looked like a boy playing wrestling to me, don´t know why …

Funny I also had in mind to mention AJ Styles 🙂

For Reigns, it would only work turning him heavy heel. I think in ring he can deliver a near 4star match with Taker. Of Course Taker would win, wich could lead into a Lesnar Reigns feud giving Lesnar another streakbraker hype.
His promos sucks and a lot of interviews to imo, reminds me on Diesel run, Nash sucked in a lot of promos during his face run.

I get the feeling they thought Takers match needed more drama after the streak is broken

    • Anan on March 2nd, 2016 says:

Actually now that I think about it, Taker could be a temporary instrument of destruction for Vince. Instrument of destruction was the same words Heyman used in 2004. In 2004 on an episode of SD, Taker choked Heyman like he choked Vince, but then let Heyman go. Then Heyman told Taker to join him & The Dudleyz. The following week, Taker bowed to Heyman after Heyman stuck the Urn in Taker’s face to which Taker stated at for a few seconds before bowing. So Taker was Heyman’s instrument of destruction till the Concrete Crypt match at the Great American Bash. But he Urn hasn’t been seen since WM29. However there’s still time between now & WM. So who’s to say Vince won’t use the Urn to control Taker, at least until Taker stops listening to him at WM? WWE rehashes things so this could turn out to be a rehash of 2004, albeit with a few tweaks – HIAC match instead of Concrete Crypt, Shane is the opponent instead of Dudleyz, it’s happening at WM and the most obvious, no Paul Bearer which he was the central part of in 2004.

Although it’d be a complete rehash of what Rollins did, Reigns should turn on Ambrose & join The Authority for a heavy heel turn as it’s the perfect way to turn him. While Lesnar’s off, Heyman could be aligned as a mouthpiece for Reigns too. Only then would I consider supporting Taker vs Reigns. Certainly won’t support one now.

I guess Taker and definitely Vince would have Reigns win because Taker does what he’s asked to out of loyalty and Reigns is obviously being pushed and positioned as the guy as they’ve invested in him. I do not think a heel turn would change that. If anything, it may accelerate the push.

    • yousif on March 2nd, 2016 says:

now it seems like loyality comes with cost, not benefits!
if you are loyal , you should loose to young wrestler who will usually retire before you in taker case!!

how this concept even work works?

    • dhanish1979 on March 2nd, 2016 says:

So long conversation guys,Anan’s earlier post of the undertaker’s post appearance at europe simply indicates the undertaker will win some how at wm 32 and shane could start next feud by smackdown take over, sorry for repeating from my earlier post.

    • Anan on March 2nd, 2016 says:

Shane seeking interference…..anyone thought of the possibility of the Mean Street Posse? After all, Shane returned so wouldn’t surprise me if they did. No they’re not a threat to Taker. But The Posse helped Shane out many times in WWE and are old buddies before any of them even got to WWE, dating back to their middle and high school days. Considering their long friendship, I’d say it’s certainly possible despite it probably not making much of a difference if any.

That’s not necessarily true. Taker as far as I know has never no-showed an event nor has he ever been late to one. He’ll be in Europe whether he wins at WM or not simply because he’s advertised and people paid tickets for him. He knows that. The only thing that’d keep him from being there is a serious injury which hopefully he will not have. He shouldn’t lose to Shane. But regardless of the result of the match, I hope he walks out healthy as that’s more important than a win.
