He is the company's most tenured performer, and he's also the only remaining active competitor from the very first episode of WWE Raw in 1993. Calaway began his wrestling career with World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in 1984. In 1990, Calaway signed with the World Wrestling Federation and The Undertaker was born. Back from the break and out comes Vince McMahon to a pop. Vince enters the ring and tells everyone to be be nice, be kind. He gets some boos. Vince reminds us his former son Shane McMahon will face The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32 in Hell In a Cell.

Vince says Shane taking control of RAW would likely mean his daughter and son-in-law leaves the business. He says that would also probably mean that we see the last of him. Fans cheer and Vince eggs them on. He shows us a replay from last week’s segment. Vince goes on and says The Undertaker is also his bi###. Vince says if Taker doesn’t defeat Shane, this WrestleMania will be his last. Vince smiles and his music hits.

For those upset that Taker had nothing to fight for, now you get your wish because as of now, he has a stake in the outcome of this match. I can see Taker losing his final match as he comes from that era where doing so was the norm. But will this WM be Taker’s final WM as a result of a loss to Shane-O-Mac? If so, THE WORST DECISION EVER and the biggest slap in the face of Taker and wrestling fans.

Well, if this is what Undertaker wants for his final Wrestlemania then so be it, as long as he’s on board with it. Obviously it wasn’t my expectation for his last Wrestlemania match but again so be it if that’s the case.
Notice McMahon didn’t say his last match but he said it would be his last wrestlemania match.. So we know he’ll at least have one more match after mania if he loses

    • Mike b on March 22nd, 2016 says:

      Hopefully be against Vince lol

    • danja20101 on March 22nd, 2016 says:

taker is usually only used for mania sure he was on summerslam n a few others last year but hes used to bring the crowd at wrestlemania. now the streaks over theres not much for him hes not a full timer anymore id hate to see taker leave but i think this might be the way he wants to go out i could be wrong in fact i hope im wrong but i dont think the deadman will b around much longer

    • LemVonDoom on March 22nd, 2016 says:

It’s one of those times when I never hated myself for giving in to the temptation of reading a spoiler, and it looks like I’m gonna pass this year’s WM. *sigh*

    • Mike b on March 22nd, 2016 says:

Weird how this whole segment for he’s retirement but they days wwe sucks for story’s so to me taker should of already choke slammed Vince or taker vocals should of piss Vince off in ordered for Vince tell taker if he do sent win then your gone. Bu whatever wwe

    • Mike b on March 22nd, 2016 says:

    • yousif on March 22nd, 2016 says:

its clear WWE felt that the match build up is nonsense story line sot they added this now unplanned.
because this stipulation is unplanned , just for excitement and a reason for taker to fight which was very poorly explained at the beginning. it makes clear to me that the undertaker is going to win.

I dont think the undertaker will loose now ..

    • BamBam on March 22nd, 2016 says:

So this storyline is a way for VInce to say to Undertaker that he is his b*tch. This also means we as Taker’s fan is his b*tch as well. Vince is giving his middle finger to everybody for many years now.Its just taker for him to take the fall for what?We all knew shane, hhh or steph will run the comp anyway after vince fully retires. So this storyline is dumb. Felt like a fool being taker’s fan this past few years since he just take away his streak now about to take his career/legacy too. Prowrestling also dying because of him too since he eliminated the competition. Look at how he build up shane….
Like Mr Anan says its a slap of the face for everybody..well im gonna prepare for this big slap in the face because it could happen. But this is couldl be the final nail in the coffin. Will taker be onboardwith it and make us wrestling fan feel stupid?

    • yousif on March 22nd, 2016 says:

undertaker will win this match ..

    • dhanish1979 on March 22nd, 2016 says:

To Anan, yousuf, mike b and rest of the members:
I dont know whats wrong with you ppl.Lets ASSUME the undertaker loses to shane, next day monday night raw vince, step, triple h comes out with their last appearance and call out the undertaker, they talk thrash and when vince about to fire the undertaker, shane steps into ring and tells the vince and authority, they have no right to fire the undertaker as they are no longer in control nor they can take decision any more,so shane re instates the undertaker and tells taker belongs to wwe.the crowd cheers.

    • Viorel on March 22nd, 2016 says:

Vince said that this will be the last WM, but he didn’t said that Taker will be fired…he may retire sometime after WM…in other order let’s be realistic…Taker is old, and he has an age…he might consider retire…

    • BamBam on March 22nd, 2016 says:

      To @Yousif
      Im sure hope so

    • yousif on March 22nd, 2016 says:

Many things in this storyline it’s not clear like:

Shane taking control for raw if he wins .. not the whole wwe!
And Vince keep saying raw means the whole WWE. But still he is fighting for raw only as he asked to take control of raw only . He never said I want to take control of wwe !! Which is logical thing to say in The storyline.
I think there is a reason behind this..

Vince said it’s last WM if taker loose .
You might be right that he may wrestle during this year and next mania be his retirement and induction to hall of fame .
But I think Vince said this because we are use to see taker mostly in WM since 4 to 5 years now . So in other words he ment retirement.

WWE stories are mostly predictable these days . But this new looks totally unplanned to me and every decision is being made in hurry . The match itself was plan C.

      Still I think taker winn

    • Deadman inc on March 23rd, 2016 says:

I think taker wil win no matter who shane is taking with him,but after a win vince wil come out and smile,s.
Taker puts his hands on vince again chockeslam,s him and saying

      I.m not your bitch ….I, M DONE

    • yousif on March 23rd, 2016 says:

      @deadman Inc.
      NO WAY

    • ST on March 23rd, 2016 says:

Taker will probably have shane beat and look over at vince. Then he might reverse sit up. He will lay down and let shane pin him to screw Vince after what Vince said about taker. Then taker leaves. Monday night raw and smackdown will have a brand split like ten years ago which has been rumored for months. Mcmahons and HHH control smack down and shane controls raw

    • Jelvin A Rivas on March 23rd, 2016 says:

i,m not you bitch Vince …. I.M DONE

    • Steveh on March 23rd, 2016 says:

I’m from the UK and have just purchased a ticket for Smackdown in London on 19th April because Taker is advertised to be there…..so….I think Taker will beat the hell out of Shane and then LAY DOWN and allow Shane to pin him.
What this does is it gives Takers legacy a new meaning, he defies Vince by showing him that he’s willing to lose at Mania, in his home state, infront of the largest audience ever just to prove he’s no ones bitch and that he believes that Shane will make the WWE a better product for us fans. There is NO ONE more loyal as a performer to WWE than Taker, Mark Callaway knows that WWE is in trouble and that Vince is no longer making good TV for the fans anymore, so after 25 years he knows it’s time for a change.
Plus as mania is in Takers home state, Taker LAYING DOWN for Shane thus screwing Vince takes the sting out of Taker losing a second time at Mania. So in many ways it will be a celebration in Dallas and Taker giving/showing us fans the Ultimate respect.
It won’t be the end for Taker after mania as I will see him at the O2 arena in London for Smackdown, But…..all of us Taker fans need to realise that one way or another Taker WILL lose at Mania…..I just hope it’s the way I think rather some other way which completely destroy Takers 25 year legacy for good…..don’t do that to him WWE, he’s always been there for you…..

    • The Last Outlaw on March 24th, 2016 says:

@Deadman inc, @ST, @Steveh, I’m sorry but I have to get this out of the way, Taker is not laying down for NOONE. If you think Taker will lay down, you don’t know Taker. Of course, Taker isn’t going to take what Vince said and let him run with it, Taker will get his hands on Vince and when he does, he’ll be delivered a Tombstone.

I just don’t understand why anyone would think Taker would lay down for anyone. That is not Taker’s style. Shane is not winning the match either, it’s been made pretty clear. They were desperate for an opponent, Cena got injured, a lot of the other main eventers were injured, Braun Strowman didn’t work out so Vince got Shane involved so that Taker would have an opponent that we totally wouldn’t expect. If Shane was really coming back, we all know his opponent wouldn’t have been Taker. Shane was a last resort. We all know no changes will be made to WWE’s programming, I’m sorry, I’d like a change too but it’s just not happening. Taker will win, and that’s the bottom line.

Taker is not going to throw away a win in font of all of the Taker fans in his Home State. People will riot, and WWE’s ratings will drop, that is for sure. Taker will not retire this year, they would make it a bigger deal. I don’t see Shane winning and then reinstating The Undertaker neither as that would just make the stipulation for no reason and pure garbage and Vince knows that. So it’s either a decisive Taker win or a decisive Shane win with Taker retiring. As I don’t see Taker retiring I’m going with that he will win, and that’s the end of this storyline.

So, I don’t see anyone of us having anything to worry about. As far as I’m concerned I am confident to say Taker will walk out 23-1. Of course, we won’t know until April 3rd but I’d say it’s in The Phenom’s favor.

    • Anan on March 24th, 2016 says:

      @The Last Outlaw:

Yes Taker will not lay down. never has, never will. He had more than enough chances in his career to go in that direction and he hasn’t did it once. He has too much pride in his work to do such a thing. Taker’s seemingly healthier now than he was at WM27. He didn’t lay down that night despite numerous chair shots and being carted out after. WM30, despite a concussion that caused him to collapse and spend the night in the hospital, he finished the match without laying down. So you’re right in saying that. If he did that in his home state and at a WM, the reaction would be worse than him losing The Streak. A lot worse.

I don’t know if Shane’s gonna win or not. But I don’t think he will. Not just because it’s HIAC, WM, in Texas. But because if he lost, this would be his last WM per the stip. Now that doesn’t mean it will be his last match unless he decides to call it a career if he lost. But here’s the thing. Taker vs Cena was set for this year till he got injured. While that match could happen at Summerslam if WM32 is Taker’s last WM, I believe WWE thinks that match is too big to happen anywhere else because it pits the two top dogs against each other. So thinking in that perspective, the outcome may be obvious….Taker wins.
