Quick Bio

The Undertaker is an American professional wrestler signed to WWE. He is the company's most tenured performer, and he's also the only remaining active competitor from the very first episode of WWE Raw in 1993. Calaway began his wrestling career with World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in 1984. In 1990, Calaway signed with the World Wrestling Federation and The Undertaker was born. The rest, as they say, was history!

There was a lot of backstage speculation at WrestleMania 32 about how that may have been the last WrestleMania appearance for The Undertaker, despite the Hell In a Cell win over Shane McMahon, according to PWInsider.

Taker had a lot of friends and family in Dallas for the match and there was speculation backstage that Taker taking off his gloves had some kind of symbolic meaning.

It seems like Taker would overcome last night’s stipulation to wrestle at least one more match at WrestleMania 33 and it should be noted that this was just backstage speculation.

Taking the “last WM appearance” as just a rumor for now. First off, these “Taker’s last WM” rumors have been consistent for years now. Second, Shane as great as he was last night isn’t really the ideal final opponent for Taker. Third, Jr and Taker communicate and JR says the subject of retirement never comes up. Fourth, he may not be getting any younger. But he has been getting healthier. Taker’s had family at WM before. His wife was present for WM30 and his wife and kids were present for WM31. As for friends, WM was in Texas so Taker’s Texan friends were able to make the trip and so they did. Them being there doesn’t mean that was Taker’s last match. Fifth, WWE would be smart to promote the hell out of Taker’s retirement to guarantee an immediate sellout. The Taker/Shane build simply was not strong enough that Taker’s retirement match deserves and his last match by the way deserves to close out whatever show that match takes place at.

Taking off the gloves, a symbolic meaning? He’s done that before (Survivor Series 2006 for one example.) Man what will these reports come up with next LOL?

By the way, Taker and Shane are spotted for RAW. Shane has already appeared and it looks like he’s running RAW tonight. No I don’t think that makes last night’s match/build pointless because the stipulation was Shane would control RAW. However because he lost, he is only (for now) in control for tonight. This could lead to a brand extension which may see Shane reach his goal of running RAW.

      To Everyone:

Until Undertaker says he is retiring, I take it as a rumor. Like I said a long time ago, people always like to spread rumors. Until you get the confirmation from the Undertaker himself, it is definitely not true.

      To Everyone:

Undertaker is backstage at Raw and will most likely not come out Tonight Live, because Raw is almost over. Maybe he will come out to the live crowd, after Raw ends. I’m not surprised, Undertaker is not Live on Raw Tonight because after every Wrestlemania, he doesn’t appear next on Raw for a long time.

If i’m not wrong Survivor Series 2006 The Undertaker took off his gloves to punish Mr. Keneddy with his bare fists at the end of the “first blood match” (Coz Keneddy cheated to win the match)
And also I think he only took off his only glove (right hand)

    • Anan on April 5th, 2016 says:

No you aren’t wrong. He took off his glove after hitting Kennedy with one of the most sickest chair shots in history!

until I see the deadman say it…..just words and opinions from others…
when its over…it will come from him directly.

Taker is scheduled to wrestle at Smackdown 19th April at the o2 in London. I only purchased a ticket for the show because Taker will be there. So wrestlemania was most definitely not his last match.
