Quick Bio

The Undertaker is an American professional wrestler signed to WWE. He is the company's most tenured performer, and he's also the only remaining active competitor from the very first episode of WWE Raw in 1993. Calaway began his wrestling career with World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in 1984. In 1990, Calaway signed with the World Wrestling Federation and The Undertaker was born. The rest, as they say, was history!

    The Undertaker Pulled From WWE Tour?

    We’ve noted how The Undertaker was still booked for the WWE European tour that kicks off this week. F4Wonline.com reports that people in WWE say Taker will not be going on the tour and that Kane will be replacing him on the shows he was booked for. No word yet on why he’s apparently not going on the tour but as noted, Taker was telling people at the WrestleMania 32 after-party that Hell In a Cell against Shane McMahon was his last match.

    As noted, Taker was pulled from most of the live events on the tour but still advertised for the April 19th SmackDown tapings in London and the April 20th live event in Newcastle, where he was advertised to team with Kane against Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman. That match was originally Taker and Big Show vs. Luke Harper and Rowan until Harper got injured. If the new report about Taker not going on the tour is true, it looks like that match could be Kane and Big Show vs. Strowman and Rowan.

    Take the Taker’s wrestled his last match portion with a grain of salt. The article smartly and accurately stated “if it is true.” Taker did not tell F4WOnline, Dave Meltzer, or anyone on the internet that WM32 was his last match. Taker is not an internet guy and for good reasons. If he has wrestled his last match, he had a legendary career and I hope he goes on to live a legendary and great life that he deserves. If he has not wrestled his last match, then I am happy as a fan. Time will tell if he has or hasn’t. But I have sided with JR on the subject of Taker’s retirement the whole time in saying that WWE will promote the hell out of his retirement because it is just smart business. Maybe in Taker’s own mind, the internal mentality is he’s done. But physically speaking, he may have one or two left. if that’s the case, WWE would be wise IMO to save his remaining bouts for the biggest show that is Wrestlemania.

      If this was his last match….that is one helluva match to exit on….in his home state in front of the largest crowd ever…and a moment that no one will forget…even if he does comeback…wm32 hell in a cell is hard to top…but selfishly,I hope he isnt done and Id love to see wm33 Taker/Cena try to top it.

      I spent 140 pound just to see Taker at the O2 Smackdown event in London……..I am GUTTED and PISSED OFF if this is true that he has been pulled from the show. I have just contacted the O2 Arena in London and they said to me that as far as they are aware TAKER IS STILL SCHEDULED to appear.
      He is still showing as scheduled on WWE.COM for the 19th April London show as well as the Newcastle show.
      Not sure what to do now…..do I sell my ticket or go hoping that Taker shows?

      @eric:

      As far as Taker’s HIAC matches go, WM32, WM28, KOTR 98 and Bad Blood 97 are my favorites and I cannot pick one of those that are the best because they’re all good in their own respective ways. I credit Shane too because as the old saying goes, you’re only as good as your opponent.Taker’s always worked his ass off, but was given in his early days, Gonzalez and those types and I applaud Taker’s efforts to make them work. But in the end, even his greatest efforts which I greatly appreciate didn’t mean much because his opponents could not carry their slack of the work. For matches to work, all wrestlers must pull their weight. If it’s left to just one person, no matter who it is, it won’t work. Taker/Gonzalez is the best proof of that. And to think Vince was going for Taker vs Braun Strowman this year. My God if this was Taker’s last match, thank God it wasn’t Strowman. Imagine if it was? Just imagine the results.

      @SteveH:

      Tickets for Taker are a gamble nowadays. WM was the only guarantee, but seemingly now that is no longer. If I were you and I already paid, I’d take a shot & go. Think about it. If you sold your ticket and he ended up being there….get my point?
