Quick Bio

The Undertaker is an American professional wrestler signed to WWE. He is the company's most tenured performer, and he's also the only remaining active competitor from the very first episode of WWE Raw in 1993. Calaway began his wrestling career with World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in 1984. In 1990, Calaway signed with the World Wrestling Federation and The Undertaker was born. The rest, as they say, was history!

    A Rare Televised In-Character Sit-Down Interview

I hope one day we get an interview like this, except longer and out of character. I really want Taker on Austin, Jericho and JR’s podcast. I don’t really care as much about the WWE Network podcast because as great as that would be, don’t expect a fully no holds barred interview because as Austin stated, some topics are off the table and he even has to lean back on what he says and how he talks. WWE maintain their usual control when it comes to their Network podcasts.

Regarding the interview above that I posted, for those that may not know, as in-character as it is, there is some truth to it. At around the 6:00 mark, Taker speaks about the WWF Title matches with Hogan in 1991. He incorrectly stated Monsoon felt there was too much interference in the match because Monsoon was on commentary during these matches and the WWF President at the time was Jack Tunney, who felt there was too much outside interference. But while Hogan got a one on one rematch 6 days after Survivor Series, Taker was correct during the interview, stating he did not receive a one on one rematch and had to enter the 1992 Royal Rumble for his only “rematch.” Not only that, but Hogan also entered meaning Hogan got two rematches. On top of that, Taker entered the Rumble before Hogan, who eliminated Taker from the match.
