Quick Bio

The Undertaker is an American professional wrestler signed to WWE. He is the company's most tenured performer, and he's also the only remaining active competitor from the very first episode of WWE Raw in 1993. Calaway began his wrestling career with World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in 1984. In 1990, Calaway signed with the World Wrestling Federation and The Undertaker was born. The rest, as they say, was history!

    Punk Talks WWE Locker Room

Former WWE Champion and current UFC star CM Punk spoke to Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg to promote tonight’s FS1 documentary and the UFC 203 fight against Mickey Gall. Below are where he name dropped Taker:

Rosenberg asked when was the last time Punk felt he had to be tough in a wrestling locker room. Punk says WWE was once like that but it’s changed. He named people like Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Chris Benoit, The Undertaker, Edge and several others as people in the locker room when he came in, which caused him to have to fight for his spot.

Taker & HBK, for the majority of Punk’s WWE run were part-timers. So tbh, I don’t know where Punk’s getting that from.

He said “when he came in” not when he started to wrestle. Usually superstars in WWE work years before they get a chance to perform wrestling in the ring. I mean Dean Ambrose was the druid of the Undertaker at Royal Rumble 2006 but he started to wrestle years after.

    • Michael on August 16th, 2016 says:

Punk knows he had to earn his way in with Taker and the rest of the guys when he came in to WWE. It seems he still has an ax to grind with WWE which is petty because he moved on to UFC.

    • Anthony on August 17th, 2016 says:

Not true, both Taker and HBK were full time when Punk was in WWE before his pipebomb.

    • silversoul on August 17th, 2016 says:

When Punk came in, Taker, HBK, and Flair were more active then.

    • kingundertaker on August 18th, 2016 says:

Punk having to “earn his spot” sounds about right. No way guys like Taker, HBK, Flair, etc are just going to rollover and let him have their time. You have to earn it and with earning it you earn respect as well.
