The Undertaker is an American professional wrestler signed to WWE. He is the company's most tenured performer, and he's also the only remaining active competitor from the very first episode of WWE Raw in 1993. Calaway began his wrestling career with World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in 1984. In 1990, Calaway signed with the World Wrestling Federation and The Undertaker was born. The rest, as they say, was history!

The Undertaker’s WWE Return Announced
Could The Undertaker be appearing at WWE Survivor Series?
Taker has been announced for the final SmackDown episode before Survivor Series, which is the November 15th episode from Wilkes-Barre, PA. He’s likely being brought in because this is the 900th episode of SmackDown, not for the Survivor Series build but anything is possible. There’s also speculation that this could be the kickoff to his WrestleMania 33 angle.

The Deadman has been off WWE TV since WrestleMania 32, where he defeated Shane McMahon inside Hell In a Cell.
So much for the “Taker’s angry with Vince, told people WM32 was his last match. He’s done” rumors! This should put those rumors to eternal rest. Following WM33, you know they’ll be back as always.
I think he’s being brought in bc it’s the 900th SD. They had him on the 900th RAW back in 2010 too. Could his return have anything to do with SSeries? Possible. But I don’t know. We’ll see. Either way, gr8 to have him back! The PA fans are lucky to have him return there. Just hope they don’t ruin it with hijacking.

Can’t wait for 900th Smackdown! He’s going to be on televised segment, so I’m thinking what can it be? Maybe a chokeslam for Shane O’Mac since SD is his show and he fought Taker for control of Raw earlier this year at WM. Maybe an appearance as random as when he showed up to interrupt Wade Barret last year. Probably not because it’s gonna be a televised thing. There is an option of some kind of Open Challenge or just a quick appearance to make sure every one knows that he’s going to WM33 and wants an opponent (something like on an old school episode of Raw back in 2013?)

Whether Taker’s segment is televised or not is pure speculation. I suspect it will be televised. But I too am just speculating.
What will Taker do? Well RAW 15th Anniversary had Taker chokeslam Vince. RAW 900 had him in a segment with Bret Hart, Kane and Nexus. It was scheduled to be Taker vs Bret. Bret can’t do much physically in the ring anymore so they used this segment to further Nexus’ build. They took Taker out and kept bringing it up throughout the rest of the night.
RAW 1,000 had Taker and Kane reunite to take out some mid card jobbers.
Old School RAW in 2013 saw Taker return. Since it was 5 weeks to WM29, they started his build with Punk on that night.
I don’t expect Taker to compete at Smackdown 900 though he might. The last Smackdown anniversary show Taker was at, he competed in a mega tag team match. It was Taker, Cena, DX vs Legacy and CM Punk in 2009.
I could see Taker’s segment involving Kane & The Wyatts. All things considered, seems to be a great fit for him. There seems to be some kind of feud building between Kane & The Wyatt Family, in particular its newest member, Randy Orton. I could see the whole Wyatt Family ganging up on Kane, only for the bells to toll, Taker comes out and in another BOD reunion, helps Kane even the odds a bit to fend off The Wyatts. This could get Bryan and/or Shane to come out and say Taker & Kane vs two Wyatt Family members, whoever he chooses as their opponents. But I suspect if this segment happened, rather than having a match, it’d end with Taker doing his in ring salute while Kane sets off the his ring flames. There’s speculation that Taker’s SD return may coincide with the build to his WM match beginning. I don’t think so bc (1) Depends on who his opponent is. If it is Cena, Cena’s off WWE TV as far as I know, filming Season 2 of American Grit, (2) WM’s still over 3 months away. Who’s to say he or his opponent are officially confirmed for WM? I think Taker’s SD appearance is a one night thing and if he competes at WM, the build will begin when Taker’s WM builds usually begin, after the Rumble or FastLane, when we are closer to WM than we are now.

I’ve heard it’s going to be televised. Who knows but it’s too big of an attraction to not show it to the worldwide audience. But then again last years Wade Barret’s segment wasn’t officially shown on TV and that was rather a big thing for fans too. Well, at least he spoke, while not being present in the ring, to the Wyatts at the end of the show. So who knows… I guess they’ll show him on TV. I hope at least!
I don’t think he will compete at 900th SD or do any movement other thab maybe a chokeslam os some kind of taunt to some other wrestler(s)/authority figure because of his latest surgery. So I do not expect tombstone piledriver. Chokeslam should be a lot “easier” move to perform for him in this time period.
It’s highly probably for him to do some type of salute with Kane or as I said earlier, show everyone that he’s open for another WM and he will eventually come back later (this year or next year) to pick up his opponent or interrupt in some match like he did to Lesnar at Battleground in 2015. This is what I love about Taker, his returns and appearances. You’re always waiting for that bell to ring, don’t know what will happen, expect something really interesting and you’re always excited for those moments. And right now, I am.

I don’t know if they’ll kick off his WM build this early, that will especially depend on his opponent. If it’s Cena, Cena’s off WWE till December. I do think Taker/Cena will get a long build as WWE views that match as probably the only non title match now that could close out WM. Yep. They view it to be that big when you consider the participants. I think the SD following The Rumble, Cena should cut a promo challenging Taker to show up at FastLane. ANd then at FastLane, the two have a face to face confrontation similar to Sting/HHH except no physicality where Cena challenges Taker to WM which Taker accepts.
