The Undertaker is an American professional wrestler signed to WWE. He is the company's most tenured performer, and he's also the only remaining active competitor from the very first episode of WWE Raw in 1993. Calaway began his wrestling career with World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in 1984. In 1990, Calaway signed with the World Wrestling Federation and The Undertaker was born. The rest, as they say, was history!

Reigns Vows To Retire The Undertaker

So last week, this happened, which means we’re now headed straight for this. And as it turns out, if Roman Reigns has his way, The Undertaker will end up on the wrong end of this. That’s right, The Big Dog voiced his intention to not just defeat The Phenom at The Showcase of the Immortals, but retire him. He revealed this after defeating Jinder Mahal, who’d been placed into a prove-it match with Reigns and almost won when The Deadman’s gong distracted The Big Dog to the point of near-defeat.

Reigns dared The Phenom to present himself after the match, but in a shocking twist, he got Shawn Michaels, who came to Detroit with words of warning for The Big Dog, who the WWE Hall of Famer claimed was unfocused and unprepared. Reigns responded to “Mr. Wrestle-Frickin’-Mania’s” olive branch with the surprisingly bold promise to end The Phenom’s legendary career, but he barely even got up the ramp before Braun Strowman bowled him over, sending Reigns tumbling in between the ramp and the barricade.

      To mr.deadpool And Everyone:

I loved how the gong distracted Roman Reigns when he faced Jinder Mahal Tonight. Next week will be interesting how this feud continues and the Undertaker will definitely return next week. I can’t guarantee it but I bet he will definitely return and Roman Reigns better watch out because the Undertaker is coming for you. Roman Reigns, rest.in.peace.

I have a sad strong feeling that our beloved deadmans career will be ended by Roman Reigns…I remember many years ago..(wish I could remember the source but I think it was late 90’searly 2000’s where ‘Taker said he’d like to go back out as the western deadman before his career ends and when he did return to a western deadman-esq attire at least…he lost to Brock Lesnar and the Streak for his ended…. For his My Yard dvd again early 2000’s when asked about the decade of destruction he said “Thats my yard and Im the dog that runs it and Im gonna keep going till the big dog comes in and takes me out of it “…..Roman Reigns now refers to himself as “The Big Dog”……. I know I might be grasping at threads here but …for me personally when I saw ‘Taker walk out at ‘Mania 20 with that attire I had an immediate strong sad feeling that he was gonna lose and might retire too….its just fitting things again with Reigns calling himself the big dog…I dunno …I’d hate for Reigns to be the one…’taker should retire imho at Survivor Series ..his proverbial birthplace….if he hadnt lost to Brock I wouldve accepted a loss and retirement at ‘mania but given how Brock hasnt really built on from ending the streak ….and Reigns gets booed even on RAW let alone ppvs I just dont want another loss at ‘mania for ‘taker and especially not to another highly UNWORTHY Opponent….’taker is old school and would most likely prefer to lose his last match like most old school guys have done but defo not to reigns…given what has happened with Brock Lesnar post ‘Mania 30….I’d prefer an old school guy ending takers career like ‘taker did for HBK

      To Anan and gang,
Yes its true and almost certain taker is going to pass the torch to roman reigns wait a minute do you all think taker going to lose nope, taker is going to bring a torch and pass it to roman reigns becoz roman would need it later when taker puts him into pit of darkness 🙂

    • Yousif on March 16th, 2017 says:

No i don’t think he will retire the undertaker and this is not a passing torche match

    • Steve on March 17th, 2017 says:

I want to see him pass the gimmick. Undertaker enters the ring, mark calloway leaves it with reigns as the new taker. On pinfall, gong sounds when lights return reigns is i new costum, with the urn.
Taker can then regenerate every few generations, what better way to honor mark than to keep his legacy till the last day.

    • Anan on March 20th, 2017 says:

Taker will NOT retire at WM33. Mark my words everyone. Every year, I always see comments like “Taler’s gonna retire at (insert specific WM event here) Yes it’ll happen one day. But hasn’t happened yet and I don’t think this year is it.

No disrespect but bad idea. That will ruin the legacy of the character. The Taker persona and character is Taker’s and his alone and he’s made it such since the night he debuted all the way till now, 25+ years. No one could do that and no one could portray it as effectively as Taker has. The only one who’d come closest to effective portrayal is Kane, who’s long career is also winding down probably.
