He is the company's most tenured performer, and he's also the only remaining active competitor from the very first episode of WWE Raw in 1993. The Undertaker Sends Chilling Final Message To Reigns

Roman Reigns doubled down on his promise to retire The Undertaker, telling the WWE Universe that it was his time now and that he was going to do what no other man had ever done and that was to put down the Deadman for good.

The lights then went out and Taker appeared on the screen to let Roman Reigns that he had dug a hole especially for The Big Dog. The lights then went out again and Taker appeared in the ring to finish letting Reigns know that this Sunday he would Rest … In … Peace.

It’s been rumored that this could actually be The Undertaker’s final WrestleMania match. We learned that after last week’s RAW Taker was in great pain after taking a spear from Roman to end the evening. Couple that with The Phenom’s trouble in this year’s Royal Rumble and all signs are pointing to Undertaker passing the torch to Roman Reigns, which is allegedly the main reason Roman was given this match by Vince McMahon.

The feud has brought out the best in Roman Reigns. With fans everywhere clearly voicing their support for Taker, Reigns has been able to shift into more of a cocky, could care less what others think, bad ass. Not only has Reigns seemed unphased by the crowds, but he has been completely unaffected by Undertaker’s mind games. While some would say he’s no-selling Taker’s act, it makes sense for the young lion to appear brave in the face of a 52 year old who has trouble getting down the ramp.

No matter how skeptical we were when this match was first rumored, both Roman and Undertaker have done a great job of getting us hyped up for Sunday’s epic WrestleMania encounter.

It was indeed moment of festive,i felt sorry for roman reigns the way undertaker made look his ad was way ahead of roman imagination, this bit reminded me the undertaker vs kamala feud,
Honestly goldberg and brock confrontation really sucked imo..
I say this again taker vs roman will cross 30 minutes and the undertaker winning by submission.

@dhanish1979 I’m gonna have to disagree with you on that one. The match will at the most be about 12 minutes, and Reigns will not tap. Although, it would be nice, they are building Reigns up so much to be the top guy, there is no way he’s tapping. Also, as much as I hate to say it, it looks like Taker may be losing. I don’t want to believe it, but look at the statistics of it.

Royal Rumble: Reigns got the upperhand.

Beginning of March: Taker gets the upperhand with a chokeslam.
2nd week: Taker got the upperhand by distracting Reigns with a gong.
3rd week: Reigns got the upperhand with a Spear to The Deadman.
Last night: Taker got the upperhand/last laugh with his mindgame to Roman.

So pretty much this build has been built to make it look like Reigns has almost no chance, that’s why Taker is not going to win. I hope I’m wrong, I really do.

OK. This is weird, but I just read it on the net. Triple H needs a Holds Harm Agreement in order to wrestle in Hunter’s words “one legged man in an ass kicking contest” in Seth Rollins. And yet Taker can threaten to bury someone alive? Oh how far Hunter has fallen.

Also, I’m gonna take these Rumors with a grain of salt. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see as usual

I do not know whether this really means something.. But this time Undertaker has signaled switching off of the lights by lowering his hands. Usually Taker always lifts his hands up switching the lights on, signalling his arrival or beginning of a match.. So does it mean that this is a signal to indicate the end of his career? May be i am reading too much into this..

The Last Outlaw:so why not we have a bet on fun, here you say match will last for 10 minutes excluding(entrances)that when ring hits,i say match will exceed 30 minutes (excluding entrances) and of course taker winning by submission.perhaps you may change your decision here for taker from losing to winning by tombstone.
      I am all excited here.

Considering that since WrestleMania XXIV title victory vs Edge, Undertaker’s cumulative time in his matches in that particular time span is 3 hours and 50 minutes and change which translates into an average of 25.5 minutes per match over the last nine WrestleManias. Timing seems good for the Deadman but considering that ‘Taker is on the plus side of 50 years of age and an iminent total hip surgery, I personally don’t see this match lasting much more than 20 minutes from bell to bell. I think it will be a pretty good match. All we can do is watch WrestleMania and see what the end result of this storyline is between Roman Reigns and Undertaker. No matter the outcome, Undertaker is a first ballot Hall of Famer.
