The Undertaker is an American professional wrestler signed to WWE. He is the company's most tenured performer, and he's also the only remaining active competitor from the very first episode of WWE Raw in 1993. Calaway began his wrestling career with World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in 1984. In 1990, Calaway signed with the World Wrestling Federation and The Undertaker was born. The rest, as they say, was history!

Triple H On Fans Still Wanting To See The Undertaker

Triple H recently spoke with The New York Post to promote the WWE RAW 25th Anniversary episode. Below is where he speaks about Legends returning on RAW 25 and Taker:

Legends returning on RAW 25, which will also be the go-home Royal Rumble episode:

“It’s finding that kind of middle road to celebrate everything that’s happened in the past yet keep a little bit of focus on where we are today and in the future. That’s the challenge, but you break down the show, three hours, two locations, Manhattan Center, Barclays Center with the names and list or talent that has graced ‘Raw’ over the last 25 years going to be in attendance, it’s going to be epic.”

The Undertaker’s return after last year’s WrestleMania 33 loss to Roman Reigns, Taker’s longevity:

“I understand why people can’t let go of it. It’s a hard thing to say that that would be the end. What he has left? I don’t know. We’ll have to ask him. That’s the beauty of WWE. Wait and see.”

“You talk about longevity and the ability to change and morph all those things, he is a measuring stick of all of that. That’s why 25 years later they want to see him maybe more now than ever. As a performer he is the measuring stick in a lot of ways, and as a human being as a performer in what we do, as a locker room leader. I respect him more than anybody.”

sources: WrestlingINC and The New York Post

HHH is right. Taker’s the measuring stick of all those things and probably other things too. Like HHH, I respect Taker more than anyone in wrestling. The only difference is my resect is as a fan. HHH’s respect, it could be from a fan’s perspective too if he’s a fan of Taker, but it’s also as a fellow backstage peer as they’ve been peers for many years now.

I too respect Taker more than any other. He always was the measuring stick and still is. I can’t think about anyone being even close to where he is when it comes to all of his in-ring abilities and all of the old school assets he posesses. He’s the greatest of them all for a reason (or many, many reasons I should say).

Hey everyone! Happy New Year to all of you Undertaker fans out there! It’s going to be a excellent Monday Night Raw 25 Tonight. This is the 25th Year of Monday Night Raw. I was actually born in 1993 and that’s when Monday Night Raw’s first Year started. Anyway, I am here to talk about the returning Deadman/Phenom/Undertaker Tonight. It is rumored that the feud between the Undertaker and John Cena will start Tonight on the 25th Year edition of Monday Night Raw and that should set up the match between both of them at Wrestlemania 34. Remember, rumors are rumors and we won’t know until Raw is done Tonight. Anyway, it’s going to be a excellent Monday Night Raw 25 Tonight! Let’s go Undertaker! :):):)

    • Mark Petrick on January 22nd, 2018 says:

I forgot to tell all of you Undertaker fans out there that the Undertaker is supposed to be at the Manhattan Center Tonight and not at the Barclays Center. We shall see what happens. Anyway, here we go Undertaker! 🙂

    • Mark Petrick on January 23rd, 2018 says:

So that Undertaker segment was about him telling his opponents over 25 Years that they tried to beat him and they failed. I don’t think we saw the last of the Undertaker Tonight. I think he will go to the Barclays Center later Tonight and when John Cena has his segment, the Undertaker would appear and then they would set the match up for Wrestlemania 34. I hope anyway that is not the last that we see of the Undertaker Tonight. I would think they would wait for that segment to the end of Raw Tonight. We shall see. To be continued…

    • Mark Petrick on January 23rd, 2018 says:

Well, it looks like John Cena will be having a match with Elias at some point so maybe no Undertaker vs Cena at Wrestlemania 34? Still too early to say that. But it doesn’t look good for the Undertaker to be coming to the Barclays Center because John Cena already came out and there was no sign for Undertaker vs Cena for Wrestlemania 34. I can’t see John Cena coming out again later on Raw. So, it doesn’t look good for the Undertaker. We shall see. To be continued…

      The Deadmans Return was AWESOME.
      Will he compete at WM???
I hope so as a selfish fan…..we’ll see.
will the Taker-Cena angle be apart of the Royal Rumble???

    • Mark Petrick on January 23rd, 2018 says:

      To eric And Everyone:

I don’t know where we go from here for the Undertaker. The Undertaker vs John Cena feud was supposed to start Tonight for the buildup for Wrestlemania 34 and it didn’t happen. A lot of people are confused about the Undertaker’s Promo Tonight, if he retired or not. I personally don’t think that was the Undertaker’s retirement speech. The next question is, will the Undertaker show up at the Royal Rumble and win or will he confront John Cena at the Royal Rumble or what? I have no clue at this point. I truly think Raw 25 was a waste. The big stars only had a few minutes to talk and that was it. Raw 25 Tonight was not a good show. We will see what happens with the Undertaker going forward.

Taker was not wearing his gloves, his hat, and his jacket.
