    The Deadmans back!

As Brock Lesnar addressed the crowd alongside Manager Paul Heyman and turned down an open ended contract from for a Wrestlemania match, it seems Heymans contempt for the WWE and it’s management struck a nerve with the man they call the conscience of the WWE. The Undertaker’s bell tolled and for the first time in a little under a year, The Undertaker made his appearance. We last saw him in England feeling the brutal assault of The Shield, but with that problem apparently taking care of itself, Takers free to move on to other things.

The Deadman came to the ring with Lesnar looking on in awe, however that awe dissipated when they got face to face. The Undertaker issuing the challenge without saying a word, Brock Lesnar was quick to accept, signing the contract and shoving the pen in to Undertakers jacket. Bad move. Taker took hold of the pen, grasped Lesnars hand and drove the pen through it! Signing the contract in blood perhaps. Before Lesnar could respond beyond yells of pain, Taker grasped him around the throat and chokeslammed him through the table.

The Undertakers back, Wrestlemania 30 is on.

At long last The Deadman has returned!

WM30 Undertaker vs Lesnar bring it on!

Undertaker with the black beard very Ministry I must say!

    • John on February 25th, 2014 says:

Alas the undertaker is back ! With the right opponent too. Yes, Brock Lesner is about right. Sting may be coming but I doubt any fan unexposed to WCW or TNA wants to see that at all no matter how good it may be. Perhaps next year would be better (with the Network and all) before a well deserved retirement match against Cena to close the circle. The Beast vs The Demon Hell Yeah!

    • Thomas on February 25th, 2014 says:

At the end of the episode I started to loose faith but then the bell tolls and The Undertaker came out in some sort of Ministry and 2013 hybrid :) Very cool looking. And very good segment in my opinion.

Hope he gets his revenge not only on Brock Lesnar after all these years but also on The Shield, after Mania :)

    • Jessa on February 25th, 2014 says:

Glad he’s back with a vengeance! It’s wrestlemania time for sure now! Love the ministry of darkness throw back beard. Deadman is looking GOOD like always! Cannot wait to see these two go at it and how they will build this match in the coming weeks! 22-0 lets GOOOOO

    • Aya on February 25th, 2014 says:

Good gosh, why Lesner??? ANYONE but him… Oh well, I’m just glad to see that Taker is FINALLY back

    • Thomas on February 25th, 2014 says:

      2010 (at UFC event):

      Taker: You wanna do it?

Lesnar:… (walks out without a word spoken)

      2014 (at WWE Raw):

Lesnar w/Heyman issuing an open challenge at WM30

Taker: …(stabbing his hand with a pen and chokeslamming Lesnar through a table).

    • ST on February 25th, 2014 says:

I like how you said “signing it in blood perhaps”. I didnt even think of that and usually I do. Good thinking. I liked this segment too it really wasnt another lame staredown like weve seen with hhh a few times, and it looked like it was going to be. I think this was their way of giving the fans a little bonus in the chokeslam since its really a special event to see it nowadays.

    • deadman07 on February 25th, 2014 says:

      Undertaker to Brock ” I don’t forget and I don’t forgive” :D

    • Maziar on February 25th, 2014 says:

Words can’t describe how happy I am,I woke up,jumped to my phone, saw he’s back and couldn’t sleep afterwards.Best news to wake up to
I was also hoping to see him chokeslaming Lesnar through a table and it happened!

    • Ministry Undertaker 666 on February 25th, 2014 says:

Good to see the old Ministry Undertaker look back, especially his robe looked more ministry. Will we see an evil Undertaker this time?

    • Fish on February 25th, 2014 says:

Every year, I wait for the day that Taker returns to begin his WM feud. And his 2014 return was definitely awesome and it will definitely be a memorable return! He looked more dangerous than ever with his ministry beard. Can’t wait to see the rest of this feud. 22-0 R.I.P Brock Lesnar.

    • Mr. 0 on February 25th, 2014 says:

      22 and oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh!!!!

P.S: I know The Undertaker is always intimidating, but am I the only who feels the current Taker is the most intimidating looks he has in the last 4 years?

    • Thomas on February 25th, 2014 says:

He got quite (much!) intimidating look when he walked down the ramp to the ring at WM28. But I think I can agree with you.

    • Aarron on February 25th, 2014 says:

Awesome moment! I’m sold. Definitely seems like it’s gonna be a very physical match! Undertaker coming out to the Ministry of Darkness look with the Mohawk, loved it. Don’t matter how he looks I’m just glad he’s back! I’m glad he’s finally gonna get payback on Lesnar after he put over Brock a decade ago..

However..Orton vs Batista the main event with no Daniel Bryan? Sigh..You gotta believe if WWE sticks to that main event the crowd will hijack that match with boo’s and boring chants. Don’t blame them at all. WWE needs to add something to that match to captivate audiences ya know

    • BillyofMaryland on February 25th, 2014 says:

Would you believe you have idiots trying to say “this is his last match!” Don’t you think if it was, they’d make a much bigger deal out of it, other than Taker just showing up one night to send Lesnar a message. At the same time it beats Undertaker vs. Cena :).

    • Taker's # 1 fan on February 25th, 2014 says:

God damn that is one bada** looking Undertaker.

    • Anan on February 25th, 2014 says:

Woo! Taker’s back and has revelaed who he wants as victim #22. And it’s not The Shield! It’s Lesnar. I’m okay with that. Only thing I wish was that Paul Bearer’s HOF induction would have been announced which would lead to Taker’s return segment.

Maybe next week, WWE will announce Paul Bearer to lead into some sort of Taker segment.

At least Taker’s return closed out the show.

      Awesome lookin beard!!!

And damn! What a statement! He comes out, doesn’t say a word. Just stares at the Mania banner. Lesnar thinks he can get away with jabbing a pen to Taker to try scaring him off or whatever it is he was trying to do – on hell no! Taker’s response? A CHOKESLAM THROUGH THE TABLE! VERY DESERVING FOR VICTIM 22!

    • Rarara123 on February 25th, 2014 says:

NOOOOORRRGH~! Daaaamn~! Here I thought I was expecting Sting to be the next great opponent for The Undertaker for this year WrestleMania and I was also expecting The Beast would challenge The Animal at WrestleMania 30 too. My dream matches just broke into pieces. SIGH :'(

However, one thing that really amazes me about The Undertaker is his new BAD A** look! He kinda reminds me of the villain Xehanort from Kingdom Hearts. XD

    • THE DEADMAN RULZ on February 25th, 2014 says:

Wicked return.. Wicked beard.. Wicked look.. Wicked attitude.. Wicked stare.. Wicked pen-stab.. Wicked throat-grab.. Wicked chokeslam.. Wicked UNDERTAKER!!!!

I’m so thrilled that Taker is back on Raw again, and doesn’t he look brilliant? Boy, didn’t Lesnar get what was coming to him. Great stuff.

    • syn on February 25th, 2014 says:

Other than the beard, the pen stab was the highlight. I did not expect that at all.

    • Jess on February 25th, 2014 says:

Lesnar looked like he had shat his pants when Taker’s music hit. I have to say he looks great, like really good. I literally screeched when his music hit! I stayed till 2am watching Raw but then I woke up to him returning?! I loved his beard, very ministry like, love it. Can’t wait to see him again next week, hopefully!

    • Jess on February 25th, 2014 says:

WWE won’t remove it, they often upload full segments.

    • Tim Leece on February 25th, 2014 says:

Great video and how good is it to have The Deadman back!

      RIP Brock Lesnar.

    • Mr. 0 on February 25th, 2014 says:

Any chance of this match being the main event? Cause I know for sure if WWE insists on Orton/Tista main eventing the crowds will kill them both with nasty chants. Hell, maybe some of them would even leave during the match like at the main event of WM 25.

Wait, that also featured Orton. I see a pattern here.

    • macten on February 25th, 2014 says:

Taker will Finally Get a win over Lesnar IN A ONE-ON-ONE Match. Taker pinned him in a triple threat match involving The Big Show back in like 2002 or 2003.

    • Renzo DeadGamer on February 25th, 2014 says:

Wow! Taker’s back! what a beard! haha

I guess, I got my wish then. He’s taking on Lesnar

All I can say are two things 1) Great return segment and I love were this storyline is going

      and 2

      Take care guys :D

    • bob on February 25th, 2014 says:

taker gives the best chokeslams to lesner loved it

    • Becky on February 25th, 2014 says:

If Undertaker is going to dawn a ministry beard again he needs to dye what hair he does have black again. I love seeing Taker in his dragon rope and seeing Taker drove that pen into Brock hand and putting him through the table was perfect. Brock need to remember who runs the yard the deadman.

    • rohit on February 25th, 2014 says:

he is back and back with the motive of getting number 22 in the list…but again with the new persona of ministry beard….awesome moments and actions

    • Anan on February 25th, 2014 says:

If Batista turns heel heading into Mania which I see being a sure thing, then you’re right. WWE will not have a heel vs heel match close out Mania, Title match or not because the fans would go home unhappy as a result of WWE’s biggest show ending in a negative light with a heel winning. Before I go on, I must remind you that a heel win closing out Mania isn’t new. WM2000, the top heel at the time, HHH won. WM17. a newly-turned heel Austin won. Both were closing matches. However, those involved faces.

Bryan’s match with HHH should and probably will be the last match and I’ll bet my life on that one closing out the show. It make sense. Bryan’s been more over since being left out of The Rumble match. If today’s fans weren’t so impatient, they’d be able to realize that this was WWE’s plan all along – saving Bryan’s “moment” for their biggest show, WM. Bryan vs The Authority is a bigger story than Batista/Orton. With all this said, it’s just a logical booking to have a Bryan win close out Mania with the biggest YES! Movement of the year so far chanting in unison, YES!.

haha! Very well said my friend. Very well said.

The best thing to come out of Taker’s return, aside from the obvious fact that The Streak will be defended again and be extended with victim 22 at the expense of a muscular punk who deserves to lose to The Phenom, NO MORE RUMORS! No more “Taker’s Mania status is in question”, no more “Taker’s declining health…..”, no more “Taker’s opponent this year is scheduled to be…..”, etc.

      1) He is not bald, he has a Mohawk.
      2) Change of appearence is necessary because people could get bored.
      3) IF you were a fan, you wouldn’t insult Undertaker like that.

You are the idiot not Taker.

    • bob on February 25th, 2014 says:

You know what else is significant about this match its going to be a great storyline if they do it right…taker has never beat lesner in a one one capacity and lesner has only faced taker as the big evil gimick many factors he never experienced the entertrance amd mind games of the lord of darkness

    • Speed Demon on February 25th, 2014 says:

      @the waste of time:
God, I hate when so called fans make a deal of Taker’s hair. If it was all about hair then you never understood what Taker was about in the first place. Taker’s a grown ass man, he can do what the hell he wants with his hair. If anybody’s an idiot, you are.

    • William on February 25th, 2014 says:

Ministry of darkness beard, just what i said :) ….. i thought i’d never see him with that beard again, awesome return, that match will be awesome.

    • Maziar on February 25th, 2014 says:

Lol @ people still caring about his hair, grow up!
He looked so badass last night, from his entrance, his new look and the way of accepting the contract. Everything was just perfect

    • Jess on February 25th, 2014 says:

      @the waste of time:

Telling someone to die is the most unacceptable thing you could ever say to someone. Like has been said, Taker is a grown man, he can do whatever the hell he wants, whether he wants to change his gimmick, cut his hair etc. Taker is not wrinkled, I cannot see a single wrinkle on his face, care to point them out? Idiots like you make me angry and lose faith in humanity.

    • THE DEADMAN RULZ on February 25th, 2014 says:

      @ the waste of time:

Haha :D what a clever hairy intellectual you are.

You know what’s stupid? I’ll tell you.

      1. You come to a Taker-dedicated site, and you bash Taker.
      2. You, being blind, failed to notice Taker’s Mohawk.
      3. Maybe, you are a loser, who doesn’t deserve to do and isn’t allowed to do anything you want. And, maybe, that’s the reason why you do not understand that Taker deserves to do whatever the hell he wants to do.
      4. You say you grew up watching Taker, but yet you comment as if your ass wasn’t born when Taker started to bust his ass for us all. And that’s why you comment like an immature idiot who relate a personality and score him only by his hair.
      5. You call yourself as nolongerataker fan, which means you were Taker’s fan once. But you being the sheer idiot you are prove your own idiocy by bashing Taker like that.
      6. And, if anyday you start to get bald as well, and well, if you get bald, and if anybody in your family was or is bald, then, by your opinion, you or that person is a stupid bald idiot.

Great. You are so intelligent. And, you are so hairy. You are so hairy in the head that maybe you are…. you are a musk ox that can type.

    • Jess on February 25th, 2014 says:

Hopefully this twat gets some sense into him and a pair of glasses because like you said he clearly didn’t see a Mohawk running down Taker’s head, it may not be dark, but it sure is noticeable.

    • Black Rose on February 25th, 2014 says:

Loved the segment and loved the new look, I wasn’t keen when taker first shaved his head a couple of years ago, but with the demonic looking beard and the new robe he looks the best he has in years :D

    • THE DEADMAN RULZ on February 25th, 2014 says:

      @ Jess:

Maybe this person doesn’t understand life. This person is accusing people of age and wrinkles? Maybe this person doesn’t understand, that once he/she ages, he/she will have wrinkles too. This guy tells other people to die, wow. What a great person.
And, you know what, there’s an old adage: you are what you think others to be. This person calls someone like Taker a twat. Well, it kind of shows you what this person is actually.

    • jason on February 25th, 2014 says:

Great to have taker back he looks badass than ever!

    • Anan on February 25th, 2014 says:

Guys, don’t waste time with you know who. Yeah, I choose not to even acknowledge his name because it doesn’t deserve acknowledgment. Can’t speak for The Phenom. But if I were Taker, I wouldn’t want a fan like that so glad he’s no longer a fan, if he ever was to begin with as he claims to be. Personally, I doubt it. If he was, he’d know it’s not about looks for Taker. Taker could come out as an actual bald, wrinkled man in short tights. And you know what? He’d still be Taker and being the Taker fan that I am, I couldn’t care less. But the point is it would still be Taker. Taker is Taker, no matter the look. Plain and simple. Can’t believe after all these years, people still don’t get that. My 13 year old cousin gets that and he wasn’t born when the Taker was back in 1990. It’s amazing that after 9 years, Taker’s Ministry beard debuted in 1999 and no one cared, despite the obvious different look. Yet people care about his hair. Just shows you the difference in people tuning in from the real fans to today’s “fans”.

To emphasize my point even further, I’m gonna go this far and say I wouldn’t care of Taker came out in nothing but a Rikishi thong. Yes. Even still, Taker would still be Taker, no matter what the look.

If looks mattered, Taker wouldn’t have been allowed to ditch the darkside for a bit in favor of a real-life, rebellious badass biker, who cut his hair short at the tail end of 2001 unless he let The Undertaker name go because after 10 years of darkness, it wouldn’t make sense for a normal human biker to go under the name, “Undertaker.” But he was allowed to because it’s never been about looks.

    • THE DEADMAN RULZ on February 25th, 2014 says:

      @ Anan:

    • Anan on February 25th, 2014 says:

Bald, mohawk, long hair, or however he looks, Taker is going 22-0. If a rising star in Orton, a monster in Kane who kicked out of two Tombstone piledrivers, the “Best In The World”, The Game, the self-proclaimed Mr. WM, and others couldn’t get it done, no way, Brock Lesnar, as the monstrous Beast Incarnate that he may be is gonna end it. Do you know what kind of reaction WWE would get? They’d lose a ton of viewers, no one would care about The Network, and the riot would top the combined boos of Cena and Orton on top AND Bryan being off in Rumble AND Batista winning The Rumble.

      Two off-topic side notes:

      1. I agree with JR because despite more than half the viewers around the world being kids and having no clue (yet) as to who Hogan is, the fact is JR’s right. Hogan was way more over last night in 5 minutes than he was throughout his TNA run. Classy o nWWE’s part too in giving Hogan his time, uninterrupted. And they gave him just the right amount of time, IMO.

      2. However, very unclassy on WWE’s part to not have anything about Nelson Frazier on their show. I get last night was about The Network. But that’s still no excuse. Here’a guy that recently passed away, who spent quite a good amount of time in WWE and even when he was not in the company, never bashed WWE and always had positives to say about his time there. WWE’s been airing Black History Month videos this month. Nelson did not get his. The very least they could have done is put a graphic up. But they didn’t even do that.

    • Thomas on February 25th, 2014 says:

I agree with you. When we talk about Nelson Frazier I think WWE’s gonna remember him on next week’s RAW. Maybe it’ll be before or after Taker shows up. At least I hope it to be so. I can go even further and say Taker has his Ministry beard reappear right now because it’s a form of remembering Frazier known as Viscera in the late nineties when he was a part of Ministry of Darkness with Taker being the leader. Just my thoughts. Maybe I’m not right but who knows. We’ll see next week.

    • mountainwoman on February 25th, 2014 says:

It is so so good to see the Undertaker back. I,like, all his fans miss seeing him in action so much. I have been recovering from 3 back surgeries the last few months and needed to see my all time favorite wrestler return to the ring. I have been following him since before he was known as the Undertaker. This will be a match where both Lesner and Undertaker will walk thru the gates of hell. The Undertaker will win to seek his next victim.

    • Deadman4Ever on February 25th, 2014 says:

The Undertaker just keeps on evolving! Did any guy on the current or old restore evolve as much as Taker? NO. Taker just keeps coming back looking better than ever *literally* and he keeps on adding touches on his persona even though it doesn’t need any but he just can’t stop evolving, and nobody can do it but Taker!

As for the segment, it was a top notch! I liked the HOLYSHIT chants! and the freakin new look makes him more diabolical than ever!! It fits the Mohawk more than the normal goatee we’re all familiar with, I mean damn he looks super evil! I think the people were totally sold and I really believe this should be the mainevent since it got the biggest pop out of all the segments aside from Hogan’s segment!

    • Jess on February 25th, 2014 says:

I heard a few “STING” chants when Taker returned.. I was like ugh. But I agree with you, the goatee fits the Mohawk loads better than a normal stubble did. I love this guy.

I know those people are entitled to their opinons, but it really pissed me off at the absolute disrespect that was said against one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. As for that troll, nolongerataker fan, he can go and start disrespecting on another fansite.

That’s actually not impossible. Your response is really logical.

But I just read a report by Meltzer saying WWE will start building Batista as a babyface for Wrestlemania 30 main event against Orton so I think Tista/Orton will still go on last. Oh, well, their funeral. I’ll be sure to watch that match to see the crowds reaction.

Wicked Pops.. Wicked chants.. Wicked segment..

So will Lesnar be going to Taker’s private gym to make sure he doesn’t legit hurt Taker in that match. And I don’t want anyone to take this the wrong way I am a huge Taker fan and have been since 1999 and I dislike Brock but he has absolutely reckless in the ring his match against Cena was hard to watch, he was legit beating the hell out of him, hope something like that does not happen to Taker, lets hope Lesnar works safe.

I may be in the minority, but I hated the Ministry era, and wish Taker had come back with a different look. The hood never looked as good to me as the hat (or even the ABA bandanna), and the sleeveless robe lacks the panache of his duster.

(The less said about the Shredder sleeves, the better).

Good to see him back, though.

Btw, did anybody notice the new neck tattoo he got in place of the old “SARA” tattoo? I think It’s connected to the old tattoo he has on the side of his neck!

      @Mr. O:

Meltzer’s reports are like any other – just a report posted on the internet. How does he have any inside info unlike any other reporter?

If Batista vs Orton did go on last, you’re right, It is their funeral. Having them go on last means WWE have not learned from their WM25 mistake. Taker vs Lesnar and Bryan’s match considering Bryan is in it will be way more over than Batista or orton. After Taker and Bryan. the crowd will be so out of it, they’ll care even less about an already careless Batista vs Orton match.

I agree, I hate them too. But the comments are just like the rumors in that we’ll have to live with and ignore them because as long as the internet remains an open forum, rumors and comments will be the norm.

I can’t see Taker giving any of his past opponents a tribute on TV. Paul Bearer was a very, very special case. However, I can see Taker tributing Mabel at a live event if he ever appears in one again because I remember at a live event in 2006/2006, he showed tribute to Eddie Guererro the same way he did to Paul Bearer on RAW – saluted towards his picture on the screen. The difference is Paul was a mentor to Taker. Mabel was not. He was just an opponent, then a follower. Point is Paul was more to Taker.

For anyone who’s about to say he showed tribute to Flair too, yes he did during Flair’s retirement ceremony, which at one time was epic, now tarnished like his legacy. Not just because he refuses to retire as a wrestler. But because of his partying habits.

The tattoo is a bit lower than where his Sara tattoo was. I tried to read what it said but I couldn’t.

@ the attention starved drama infested moron bitching about taker’s hair:

Why are you so angry? Its just hair.. you might shave your head, how would you like it if your family called you an ugly wrinkly bald twat. If you have nothing nice to say, I suggest you go else where.

So now it’s time to wait for next week’s Raw in Chicago. I wonder what is next in store for us. Maybe some talking segment about their past? Or mind games which we all miss? Or something behind the scenes? Cant’ wait :)

The question remains is what Taker we’ll see. I added up a follow-up report to Ed’s with my thoughts below the report.

Can you elaborate please because I couldn’t understand what you mean by “What Taker we’ll see”.

I was on Tumblr a few minutes ago and I found this..

“Dude Taker looked hella old. Like in a there’s no realistic way he could over power Lesnar. He looked pale and thin. I hope this is the last one for the Taker. Sign that legends contract and go to the HOF.” This makes me sooooooo angry.. ‘Pale and thin’ I don’t think so.

    • Speed Demon on February 27th, 2014 says:

@Jess. I know for a fact Taker could care less what IWC smarks say about them. He thinks they’re a joke. Like Ed and Roy said, just ignore it. They type stuff because they know it’ll get a response. Best just to make them look foolish.

    • Deadman4Ever on February 28th, 2014 says:

Don’t worry about that. As long as this story continues, It’s all fine. I don’t know why I got this feeling that Taker will be on the titantron with a really scary, bone chilling promo!

By the way, in my opinion, I think Taker lost a lot of weight compared to last year! I’m sure it’s not because of the new look, he just looks thinner! It could be because he wants to be at his very best when going against Brock because he’s been waiting for it for years now and because Brock is no ordinary opponent! If he continues to work on his body this way I believe he’ll have more than 2 years in his tank!
